Fender American Vintage Reissue ’62 Stratocaster in Ocean Turquoise Metallic — an exceptionally rare colour that very rarely comes up for sale.
Amazing condition, with just two very tiny dings (can hardly see them), no rust or corrosion on hardware at all. Frets have approximately 80% life remaining.
Made in 2004/2005, these early AVRI ’62s are particularly well regarded and are often considered by players to be superior to the later/current American Vintage Reissue models, especially for their vintage-correct construction, feel and overall build quality. About as close to a Fender Custom Shop as you can get without buying a CS.
Currently fitted with D’Addario 10s and professionally set up in standard tuning.
