Built in Indonesia, this five-string bass takes the classic StingRay formula and expands it with an extended low B string, making it a versatile choice for players who need additional range. The ash body is finished in a natural gloss, paired with a satin-finished maple neck and maple fingerboard for a classic, bright and articulate look.
The Sterling pickup and active electronics deliver the familiar punchy, powerful character associated with the StingRay design, with a flexible control layout featuring volume, treble, middle and bass controls alongside a pickup coil selector. The 34" scale, 17.5mm string spacing and 45mm nut width provide a comfortable five-string playing feel, while the 9lb 13oz (4.4kg) weight gives the bass a solid and substantial feel.
