Up for grabs is this mint SansAmp Bass Driver DI.
UNUSED, NOS.
I bought this DI new in the late 2000s, planning to get back into playing bass. I ended up on keys instead.
Since purchase, the DI has been stored in a sealed locker in a clean, smoke-free home environment.
It'll run on three different power sources:
- 9v battery
- 9V DC power supply (centre negative, 100 mA draw)
- Phantom power, 24 - 48v
It can be used as a standard (uneffected) DI, or you can dial in the classic SansAmp overdrive and distortion to taste.
It has three outputs:
- Parallel output, 1/4" unbalanced, uneffected, pass thru to your amp or recording device.
- Balanced XLR output, low Z. Sends effected/uneffected signal to mixer or recording device.
- 1/4" output, unbalanced low Z, sends effected/uneffected signal to amp rig or power amp.
The manual includes 12 "preset" diagrams, allowing you to dial in the classic workhorse bass sounds (Bassman, SVT, fat tube, reggae, slap, acoustic guitar, clean/Piezo, others).
