Its amber acrylic shell gives it a striking look. As expected, this is the VISTALITE?a model every drummer dreams of owning.
In recent years, various manufacturers have released models made from acrylic.
Acrylic is resistant to weather conditions, and its sound?with its emphasized midrange?is highly valued for its compatibility with rock music.
Among these acrylic snares, the VISTALITE series is an absolute must-have. And when it comes to models from the f70s, this is the very model that helped define a transitional era in the music scene.
The snare sound produced by the backbeat that underpinned countless classic songs continues to captivate many drummers to this day.

Based on the serial number, this is a mid-1970s model.
The mute is still in place, and the hoops are original.
While there is some general wear, its high level of originality and the clean shell seams make this a must-see drum.
In recent years, prices for 1970s Acrolite drums have skyrocketed, and actual examples are becoming increasingly rare. There is some wear from use along the edges on the back, but this has little effect on tuning at present and appears to be a natural variation often seen in Acrolite drums of this era. Of course, when used for performance, that classic Acrolite sound is still very much alive.
Although it shows signs of use, aging, and some scratches, it is still fully functional.
