Up for sale, a 1982 Boss OC-2 Octaver in excellent condition and in perfect working order. Introduced in 1982, this first-year version of the OC-2 has the distinctive "Octaver" text (with "R") and lighter brown enclosure, made in Japan and enabling users to add a pair of independent controllable octave tones (two octaves beneath the original pitch and one octave below), with a Direct Level knob to control the wet/dry mix. Yielding a distinctive sound, this iconic pedal has been played by artists including John Petrucci and Matt Bellamy.

The enclosure shows only modest wear, and the original knobs and black foil “Made in Japan” label are intact. The serial number sticker inside the battery compartment dates to July, 1982.
